Circles are used in folk dances all over the world. A circle is a transcendental symbol of spirituality and divinity. At the age of 12, D. Strimaitis started learning various dance styles: line dances, show dances, and eventually, contemporary dance. In 2015 he enrolled in a Bachelor\u2019s degree in dance at Codarts (Netherlands). In 2019-2022 Strimaitis was a dancer at the National Ballet of Marseille. In 2024 Dovydas Strimaitis received the Golden Stage Cross award as the best choreographer of the year for the dance performance \u201cDuet\u201d.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The dance performance \u201cSuk suk\u201d <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">(Spin spin)<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> is the first collaborative performance of D. Strimaitis and \u0160eiko Dance Company.
