Dance performance-historical excursion “Stone-flowing time” is a choreographic-historical composition about the journey of man, during which he passes through water, fire, stone and glory. Symbolic mythical time is intertwined with the destinies of living people.
The performance presents two identities of the Klaipėda Sculpture Park – the destroyed old city cemetery and the sculpture art exhibition established in its place during the Soviet era, and the landscape of the park itself turns into a scene. The audience is accompanied on a surreal journey by the first people – Eve and Adam, and a raven, which has lived in the densest tree in the park for hundreds of years. A true story about parrots, which children used to bury in abandoned cemeteries after the war, was used to inspire playfulness, a kind of carnival. The raven in the play acts as deep wisdom, and the parrots act as the colors, lightness and joy of this world.
“Where there is life, there is also death. And vice versa. It’s just a matter of transition and border,” the creators of the performance whisper and invite you to a journey through the stone-flowing time
