This solo dance performance inspired by personal experience opens up a sensitive societal issue: bullying and its effects. The author of the performance emphasizes that the imprints of the painful experiences remain in our memory, our body, and are reflected in the choices we make, eventually becoming our inner prison. The play reveals the different states of the body and mind that the victim experiences during their life. The last of these states is acceptance, which can awaken a desire to share the experiences by raising public awareness about bullying. In the sensitive language of dance, the performer (en)tangles his painful experiences from the past and offers the opportunity for reconciliation.
